Funny Road Signs From Around The World!

Most road signs you encounter are straightforward. They tell you what to do, which direction to go in, where you are etc. Pretty mundane stuff really...but occasionally (and usually unintentionally), road signs can be funny!

Here's a collection of funny road signs from all around the world - and unlike many silly road sign pictures, there's no graphic editing been done to make them funny - they're all genuine road signs as far as I can tell :)

Lost In Translation 

Bi-lingual road sign (English & Welsh) junction of Clase Road and Pant-y-Blawd Road Swansea, South Wales, UK

In Wales, all the road signs are written in both Welsh and English.

The English speaking officials who organise road signs sent an email to Swansea Council asking for a Welsh translation of the words,"No entry for heavy goods vehicles. Residential site only".

When they received a reply written in Welsh, they assumed that they'd got their translation and went ahead and the words written in Welsh onto their road sign...unfortunately, what the email had actually said (when translated into English) was;

"I am not in the office at the moment. Send any work to be translated"...
