Crowd Favorites Old And New Come Out For The Furry Vengeance Premiere
Red carpet events always draw some interesting crowds, and this was definitely true of the Los Angeles Furry Vengeance premiere. The screening, which took place on April 18th, had some of Hollywood's most respected veterans and brightest new stars in attendance. Brooke Shields was there with Brendan Fraser and their co-stars Skyler Samuels and Angela Kinsey.
Brendan Fraser seemed excited to promote his first widely released motion picture in two years, following the 2008 film Inkheart. Fraser has a history of making beloved family films, such as the well-known franchise, The Mummy. He continues that legacy in Furry Vengeance, an eco-conscious movie the entire family can see together.
While he had a great time making the film, it was not easy for Brendan Fraser to get into shape for his role. Because the film required so much physical comedy, Fraser needed more padding in his backside and had to pack on the pounds to make the movie. Since wrapping the film, though, Fraser says he has struggled to take off the extra pounds because he just loves eating pizza so much.
Another seasoned veteran who worked the red carpet was the lovely Brooke Shields. Shields first stole America's heart at age fifteen when she made the film The Blue Lagoon. She has since had an impressive career and seemed to be glowing as she made her way into the premiere.
Her accomplishments in film and television have not been the only reasons America has been so captivated by Brooke Shields. She received a great deal of attention in 2006 when she published a book about post-partum depression entitled Down Came The Rain. She based the book on her experience after having her daughter, Rowan.

Skyler Samuels was working the red carpet in support of her first big movie at just sixteen years of age. Although the grown ups may not know who she is, the kids will recognize her from several Disney Channel shows.
Another actress who made the jump from the small screen to the big screen in this movie was Angela Kinsey, best known as Angela Martin on the popular show The Office. Kinsey is no stranger to television, having made appearances on shows like Monk and King Of The Hill.. On top of all that, she stars in multiple 'webisodes' that go along with The Office. The movie shows a totally different side of her than the one that we are used to seeing from her previous characters.
