Fusion Marketing (or, "how to get other people to market your business with you")
Every business, big or small, would love to generate more sales and spend less doing it. Fusion Marketing does just that - by creating relationships that get other people and businesses marketing for you.
Fusion Marketing is a way of thinking about your marketing and your business. It's something we use all the time both for our own business and for our clients. Here's our definition (please post a blurb if you've got a better one!)
The Fusion Marketing Principle
Every business, individual or organisation has both resources and needs/wants. By combining your marketing resources with others, everyone can more easily achieve their needs.
You can fuse with other businesses, your customers, the man on the street, the media, even your competitors.
Squidoo is a great Fusion example:
1. It fuses the talents of thousands of lensmasters to create an interesting site
2. It shares out the wealth (resource) to encourage people to promote it to their networks (resource)
3. It works with good causes and fuses their reputations with it's own and does a huge amount of good at the same time
This lens is about showing how fusion can work for businesses of all sizes and pointing to some great examples.

- If you happen to operate a storefront venue (restaurant, coffee shop, etc.) you need to get yourself on Foursquare.com and showcase a Foursquare Cling Sticker on your storefront window. For more on this, visit the Squidoo lens - www.budurl.com/clings.
