Sofa beds have sometimes been called Futons. Although these two pieces of furniture are very similar, they are not the same. One of the major differences are the mattress. On a sofa bed,the mattress is attached to the frame. On Futons, the mattress is seperate and will need a sticky gripper underneath to hold the mattress in place.
