Automated Trading - The Key to FX Trading Success

I have traded forex for about 10 years as a private trader. I started out trading FX over phone with a broker and have since fallen in love with this facinating thing. I have learnt a few technical analysis stuff which I believe is what most professional traders heavily rely on these days.

A year ago I started trading FX on the Internet but still did manual trading. I had had limited success with my trades until I found PipBoxer, an automated FX trading and management system. Initially I downloaded the demo version and watched the result. The results were not that impressive although profitable. Then I started using the information from the system to trade manually on another Internet trading platform. Suddenly I could achieve more winning trades. In fact my profitability jumped from a slight negative to a 42% positive in just 45 days. So, I decided to get the full version of PipBoxer and use it for live trading on my InterbankFX account. One important element in achieving a successful FX trading is to do away with the trader's emotion. One of the reasons why professional traders are more successful in their trades is precisely because they trade with others' money and thus have less emotion. If you trade with your own fund, automated trading systems where all the rules for trade executions are preset is a solution to this. No trader intervention and thus no error due to emotional actions on the part of the trader. PipBoxer not only analyses the trade directions and determines enter and exit points but also has automated money/risk management measures built into the system. Without appropriate disciplines and risk management you are bound to a disaster in the high risk FX arena. I also want to add that automatic trading system is a practical approach in implementing disciplines and risk management that usually require some attention and manual tasks.
