G.I Joe 2009 Movie : Rise Of The Cobra

Duke is the code name of First Sergeant Conrad S. Hauser. He is field commander and second-in-command of the G.I. Joe Team after Hawk. He is one of the key characters of G.I. Joe and a fan-favorite. He's a natural born leader and a tough-as-nails field commander, and prefers to lead from the front.

He can always be counted on to take the fight to the enemy. Duke's load-out includes the M2X1 suppressive fire heavy machine gun with a quick-recharge grenade launcher Special Action that can easily take out a cluster of enemies in one shot.

Hawk (later General Hawk) is a character from G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, a line of military-themed toys.

Hawk is the code name of Major General Clayton M. Abernathy. He is the commander of the G.I. Joe Team. Born in Denver, Colorado, he comes from a wealthy family whose influence enabled him to enroll in West Point where he graduated at the top of his class. He was even able to gain experience in the battlefield in several trouble spots.

The official line on Scarlett is that her full name is Shana M. O'Hara. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her primary weapon is a 9mm machine pistol, but she also has a 15p laser-guided crossbow that fires three homing bolts at nearby enemies when her Special Action move is activated.

Her rank is Master Sergeant, and she serves from time to time as team leader. Her primary specialty for the team is counter intelligence and is additionally skilled in martial arts and acrobatics. Of note, her secondary military specialty remains classified in all of her file cards.

Snake Eyes is the code name of a member of the G.I. Joe team. All that is known for certain about his military standing is that he holds the rank of U.S. Army Sergeant First Class (E-7) and has undergone Drill Sergeant training. He is also the team's resident hand-to-hand combat instructor. Very little else about his past has been revealed.

His SFP-3 pistol will keep enemies at mid-range at bay for a bit, but he really shines when he employs his hand-forged steel katana on enemies within melee combat range. His Special Action consists of a sweeping katana attack that will destroy any ground troops within close proximity.

Rip Cord is the code name of Corporal Wallace A. Weems. He is the G.I. Joe team's HALO Jumper (High Altitude Low Opening) and debuted in 1984. He first appeared in issue #32. He first appeared in the animated mini-series Revenge of Cobra.

His ability to bank and deploy three PACRAT's at once will come in very handy when fighting the toughest enemies, essentially quadrupling his firepower on the battlefield for a short amount of time.

His original file card indicates his real name is Lamont A. Morris of Chicago, Illinois. He serves as the G.I. Joe Team's heavy ordnance specialist with a passion for classical guitars and Bach.

He is described as being unafraid of any situation despite heavy enemy fire. He is also the cousin of Roadblock, and shares the same passion for cooking and speaking in rhyme.

Another core G.I. JOE team members, and one of the toughest to boot! If you ever go into battle, you definitely want this guy at your side.

The high rate of fire of his M230-A2 automatic cannon chain gun can tear through enemies quickly and his variable suppressive fire Special Action can destroy pretty much anything in its path, including vehicles and structures. HD combines brains and brawn to support the team with tactical expertise and muscular might.

Prior to joining G.I. Joe, Cover Girl was a highly successful fashion model from Peoria, Illinois who graced the covers of countless magazines, but she found the world of modeling unfulfilled and joined the army to seek out new challenges in life. She felt very driven to master distinctly unfeminine traits in order to prove that she was not just a pretty face.

Laird James McCullen Destro XXIV, usually referred to simply as Destro.
Born in Callander, Scotland, is Laird of Castle Destro in the Scottish Highlands. The Destro clan has designed and sold weapons for centuries, and Destro is the head of their current incarnation: M.A.R.S. (Military Armament Research Syndicate).

He wears a mask forged from Beryllium Steel, a tradition dating back to the English Civil War, when an ancestor of his was caught selling weapons to both sides. Forced to wear a steel mask for his crimes (neither side wanted to execute the ancestor because they still wanted the weapons he sold), the Destro clan has since turned it into a symbol of pride, passing it down from father to son for over 20 generations.

Cobra Commander is the leader of Cobra, described in the show's opening theme as "A ruthless, terrorist organization determined to rule the world". His face is always covered, either by a featureless chrome mask concealing his entire face or by a hood with eyehole cutouts.

He wears a blue military uniform, occasionally sporting a cape and carrying a scepter, depending on the occasion. His distinctively raspy voice was provided by Chris Latta, who also provided the voice of Starscream in Transformers.

The voices of Starscream and Cobra Commander were virtually identical, with the difference being that for the former, Latta's voice was run through a vocoder to produce the characteristic digital echo effect of the Transformers.

Baroness serves as the Cobra Organization's intelligence officer and lieutenant to Cobra Commander. With long black hair, black-rimmed glasses, and a black leather outfit, Baroness is a dark, sensual femme fatale whose beauty is matched only by her ruthlessness.

the Baroness finds the organization of Cobra has changed with Cobra Commander gone, Destro has dumped her in favor of Zarana. The Baroness is humiliated and infuriated about this, and has also grown tired of Serpentor's leadership, feeling she had more worthwhile things to do when Cobra Commander was in charge.

She joins with the Dreadnok Gnawgahyde and they return Cobra Commander, still a snake kept by Serpentor, to semi human form.

The Commander ultimately takes back Cobra from Serpentor, and Destro dumps Zarana to get back with the Baroness. The Baroness and Destro are seen to be back together by the end of the first mini-series and the Baroness was much more loyal to the newly returned leader Cobra Commander.

Storm Shadow's real name is Thomas S. Arashikage(Arashi = "Storm" and kage = "shadow" in Japanese). Best known as the Cobra Commander's ninja bodyguard and assassin at times, he is the only member of the team to change sides several times, conflicted in loyalties between Cobra, G.I. Joe, and his long relationship with his blood-brother Snake Eyes.

He usually wears a white uniform and mask. When out of his uniform, he is shown to be Japanese-American, with black hair and dark eyes.

He was often being bandied about as a counterpart to G.I. Joe member Spirit, and later on against G.I. Joe member Quick Kick. Also, he remained loyal to Cobra till the end of the Sunbow series. During season two he sided with Cobra Commander against Serpentor, and was seen helping the Commander in his various plots to overthrow Serpentor.
