The Game Copy Pro Review
I am sure if you are an avid gamer like me that you have faced the pain of losing a game disk through damage or just general wear and tear. If you have a game that you play a lot it is quite easy for the disc surface to become scratched and make it unplayable. Then you have to go out and spend another 50 bucks to get a new copy and run the risk of the same thing happening again. Maybe you have let one of your buddies borrow your game only to never see it again and you are left high and dry.
Well now there is a solution to this problem and it is called Game Copy Pro. This software has been specifically designed to make a full version copy of almost any gaming disc used on systems such as Xbox, Playstation, Wii and Gameboy. The software has designed to be easy to use by anybody regardless of their technical skills when it comes to computer software. The developers of Game Copy Pro provide video tutorials of the members area of the website also that will take you step by step through the process of copying a game disc so you can follow along.
Game Copy Pro will also bypass almost all forms of copy protection found on recent gaming disks. The developers of the software are always releasing new updates so that Game Copy Pro can keep up with the advances in copy protection and bypass them when it comes time to make a copy of your favorite game.
Also, there is no need to modify your system in any way - no chips to install. All you need to copy a game disk is to have Game Copy Pro and a Cd or DVD burner and the game disc that you want to make a copy of.
When you join the Game Copy Pro website you're are presented with links to download the software along with the video tutorials showing you have to use the program.
The Game Copy Pro software was very easy to install. The program has been designed to be newbie friendly so that anybody can be very quickly copying their gaming disks. The software works on both Windows and Mac systems.
Depending on the size of the data on the game disk copying the data over to a new CD can take several minutes. The copying process may seem quite slow but considering how much data is been copied I don't think the developers of Game Copy Pro could have made it any quicker, you can let the program make the copy in the background while you get on with other things on your computer.
I have burnt over 30 disks so far using Game Copy pro and it has been a quite easy experience each time. I haven't run in to any issues with the copy protection on a disk so far although I am led to believe there is a 5% chance that the software won't bypass some copy protection algorithms.
Game Copy Pro Support
Members of Game Copy Pro have access to their technical support team who you can contact via email. I sent them a query regarding an error message I received one time while using the program and they responded to my question, although it did take them two days. I would have liked to have seen a faster response time to my problem.
Game Copy Pro Conclusion
In the six months I have been using Game Copy Pro I have been quite happy with it. It has so far copied any gaming disk I have given it without issue. As I mentioned earlier I have copied over 30 game disks and not run in to any problems.
I only wish I had found this program earlier because I can't calculate how much money I have spent replacing some f my games that got scratched up or destroyed. If I had been using Game Copy Pro since I started gaming I would still have pefect original game disks and just been able to give out a copy to my buddy or to use on my own system and then if the disk did get scratched and made unplayable it is no porblem making another one.
I have tried out several other game copy software solutions and found none of them to be as effective as Game Copy Pro. They may lack a bit in the technical support area and the copying of disks could do with some improvement but apart from those two minor issues it is the best solution for copying game disks.
The software comes with a full 60 day money back guarantee. If for any reason you''re not happy you can simply request a refund and you will be issues one no questions asked.
