One Techniques for Making a Backup Copy of Your Game
There's multiple ways you can backup your games in order to avoid losing them tog eting lost, damaged, or even stolen. One of those ways is through making a hardware change to your gaming console. You can use a device called a "mod chip." It's inexpensive and will serve the purpose of copying your games in order to create a backup copy.
These "modchips" can be purchased online anywhere from $20 to $50 on average depending on the type of chip you buy and the game that you use it on beit X-box, Playstation 2, or Wii. You can find dealers online fairly easily if you Google "game modchip." (I was also successful using a search under "how much is a modchip.")
With a modchip, essentially all you need from there is one of the free DVD burning software programs you can download free online. That's one of the benefits of "modchipping."
There are also disadvantages to modchipping as well though, that you'll want to be aware of. Here are 3 of them...
1. You have to open up the console of your gaming device to install the mod-chip which "VOIDS" any future updates to your games
2. Accurate installation has to be achieved in order create good copies...but even with correct installation, sometimes the copies aren't all that great.
3. You can only play your back-up game copy on your own Wii console.
Despite these disadvantages, the mod-chip is still a viable option to make backup game copies.

Game Copy Software - What is Your Favorite Gaming Program
You've heard the old saying, "Different strokes for different folks," right? Well, this idea as we all know applies to everything including our gaming. Some people like/love the Wii, P2, Gamecube, PC, and other games. Which one is the most popular? Vote on the poll and let us know...(By the way, the great thing is that EasyBackupWizard is a game copy software that will copy all of your games regardless of which console you own. I did a review on the software here that you can check out. In the meantime, what gaming console do you have?)
Another Option for Copying Games and Making Your Own Game Copy Backups
How about game copy software that lets you make backup copies of your games, without having to modify your gaming console??? Sound like a good plan to you? I sure did like the sound of it better myself as well.
Game copy software is a much easier route to go when you want to copy a game. You simply buy the software, download it, and you're ready to go. You don't have to mess with any hardware, you gaming console, or risk damage to yourself or your game device.
Getting game backup software is definitely the route that makes more sense from what I can see. Does it to you?

When Choosing a Software for Making Copies of Your Games
There are a few choices on the market when it comes to finding game copy software. I've reviewed all the options and here's some of the things you want to look for when buying software to copy games.First when you're looking for game backup software to purchase, make sure it is actually software that you are buying. Some products represent themselves as software only when your buy the product you'll discover it's more of a "how to copy games" guide. That can be a little disappointing.
Second, make sure your software doesn't prevent you from receiving updates to your gaming console. Mod-chips prevent these updates...most software does not!
Third, verify the software works on copying all games. So if you're looking for Xbox 360 Game Backup Software, for example...that same software should also copy Wii games, P2, P3, PC games, Gamecube, etc. Some software has limitations on what game types it will copy. You may want to limit your acceptance to purchasing that software.
Fourth, ensure the backup copy game you just created can play on any console. By that I mean that you don't have to take your Wii console with you to play your Wii backup game. The best software allows you to make backup copies of your game that play on your friend's Wii console as well.
Fifth, make sure your software is affordable. You should be able to get game copy software for under $40 that will do all the things previously mentioned...and more.
I did a review of some game copy software that meets all of this criteria and more. You can read it by clicking here ==> "game copy software".
