This is an uber lense about the game industry. While it often gets billed as "playing games for a living" the truth of the matter is that games are made by the hard work and late nights of dedicated professionals.

Roles in the Game Industry

What are you going to be doing in the industry anyways.

Lenses about various job functions of the game industry. (I don't know enough about the art aspect to write a lense on it, if someone else does, please let me know!)
Design
All about game design. This is one of the most sought after positions in the game industry. Most development studios have one or two full fledged game designers and a larger group of level builders (often also called designers).
Testing (QA)
Ah, Game Testing. The least understood, most maligned, poorest treated spot. Also, where a lot of us got our start. Game testing is easy to do but hard to do well. This lense covers all the angles.
Production
These are the people who get the product made. Scheduling, coordination and people management are the key skills to have. Not an easy job.
Programming
Ah the hard at work coders. Building a game system out of their own heads or building the tools to allow others to do it.
