Get Excited Now for New Kinect Games!
The Kinect is a relatively new motion controller for the Xbox 360. It allows you to use your whole body to control what's happening on the screen, and really puts you into the thick of the game while getting you up off the couch as well.

Upcoming games are all well and good, but perhaps you'd rather read about something that is already available. If that's the case, Newest Kinect Games might be more your style.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
Amazon Price: $54.99 (as of 05/31/2012)![]()
List Price: $59.99
Seems like the new thing for Xbox games is "better with Kinect," and this game is no exception. You're not going to be using the motion controller to run around and shoot with, but there will be some compatibility, mainly with voice commands and abilities that you don't use in-game, but instead for viewing weapons and practice only.

Brave
Amazon Price: $49.99 (as of 05/31/2012)![]()
List Price: $49.99
This game, based on the newest Disney movie, is scheduled to have some Kinect interactivity (through archery and other minigames). Certainly not a fully connected Kinect game, but provides some motion-action goodness.
Release Date: 06/19/2012
Steel Battalion
Available June 19, 2012
Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor
Amazon Price: $59.96 (as of 05/30/2012)![]()
List Price: $59.99
This looks like it's going to be a very exciting Kinect game for fans of the FPS genre. Games like Mass Effect have already explored Kinect connectivity, but only through voice commands. Steel Battalion will involve upper-body gestures in the action, while keeping the use of the controller for some aspects such as firing and aiming.

List Price: $59.99
Popular opinion is that it will be difficult to integrate Kinect into the popular Madden franchise, but we're still keeping our hopes up. So far, football hasn't been done very well for the Kinect (see the Kinect Sports and MotionSports examples), so we think that it can only get better. Right?

- I second Kinect Star Wars. It looks just ambitious enough that it looks like it can actually deliver on its concept instead of being a giant mess of unfinished code and glitches that a lot of overly ambitious titles fall victim to.

- Yeah, I'm hoping that the delay in the release actually results in a polished game!
