Recently this had began to change and now many developers are creating games that are aimed towards female gamers. In fact surverys show that 70% of casual game downloads are played by women.

Just like with all game genres there have been some genres that have been created just for girly games. Finding a genre that you enjoy can make it easier for you to find a game that you know you will enjoy.Here you can find information on each of sub genres that are perfect for female gamers;
Hidden Object Games
The general idea of these games is to find a list of items that have been provided. Its not as easy as it sounds, you must find this list of items within a cluttered scene. Generally there is normally a basic story line of the reason why the player must find the selected items.
Time Management Games
With these types of games the player generally has to furfil certain tasks or goals within a time limit. These type of games would generally include tycoon style games where the player must build up a business such as fairygodmother tycoon and many more.
Puzzle Games
This is generally a fairly big genre and can consist of a mixture of games such as match 3 type games, jig saw puzzle games or even riddle type games such as professor layton then this genre would be perfect for you!

Below are just a couple of new games for girls that I have played and enjoyed. These games below offer fun, and hours of entertainment. I have written up a mini review of the games to give you a little bit of information about the game and its features. Wanderburg Mini Review
Fun Time Management Game
Wonderburg was once a beautiful fantasy world and many people loved living in its towns and cities. This soon changed when fantasy creatures such as trolls, giants and even dragons began to turn a once loverly place into a nightmare where no one wished to live.Now you must travel through the land ranging from cold mountains to warm farms to help rebuild this fantasy world and to fight off any creatures. This to hopefully restore wonderburg to its glory!
This is a fun time management game that requires you to complete a set list of goals/tasks in order for you to progress onto the next city/town. The tasks generally involve building so many houses and earning so much money from rent. As you do progress though you will need to use your magical skills to help fight of fantasy creatures such as pirates, trolls and more.

Fairy Godmother Tycoon
Potions, potions and more potions!
If you was in a fairy tale land what do you think people would want more than anything? of course potions! Imagine a potion to bring love, to mend a broken heart, and even remove a curse! Well now you can do this, join forces with the fairy godmother to turn a small potion store into a potion/enchanting empire!Check the local weather to see what people will be suffering and you can tailor your stores stock to match the possible demand, buy the required ingriedients, set the prices and when ready advertise the store to the locals to actually get them in store and buying!
As you complete your goals you will then be able to open a new store in different villagers to help spread the word about your potions. Be careful though there are more potion making business out there and as you progress in the game they will do alot more to try and put you out of business.

A real hospital enviroment!
Have you ever imagined what working in a hospital would be like as a nurse? In this fun and enjoyable time management game you take the role of helping a nurse who has just finished university. After finding it very hard to find a job in a well run hospital you finally get accepted into a hospital that is below standards.Each day you have a goal that has to be met, this goal is healing X amount of people that come into the hospital. Once you meet your target you go onto the next day and then slowly progress into more challengingt hospitals.
You will have to diagnose people, take them to the correct area of the hospital, provide their charts and any medication they might require and then you must clean up after them!.

Amelie's Cafe Mini Review
The Real Way To Run A Cafe
Running a cafe can be hard work and has always been a life long job for Amelie's grandfarther. He has now however taken a long deserved break and Amelie has decided to go and help work at the cafe to keep it in business.Over the many years the cafe has started to fall into a mess and requires a lot of repairs, even the staff could do with much needed training. Amelie has decided that she will help to turn this cafe back into its former glory and get it full of customers again!
In this fun filled game you must complete your daily goals of earning so much money a day. The only way to do this is to serve the many zany characters with what they want to order, set the cooks cooking and ensure that you give them the correct food, some will even require multiple orders.
You also need to ensure that the cooking areas are fully clean or else the cooks will not be able to cook until its clean. A fun aspect of the game is that it features a mini match game where you match up 3 icons to get bonuses such as a complete clearn kitchen!
