I'm Lauren, and here is your who's who guide to the hot Hunger Games cast in today's PopSugar Rush! The Hunger Games has been causing a fan frenzy over the past couple months, as more news about the film has continued to leak. Just last night it was revealed that Lenny Kravitz is the latest star to sign on, rounding out the story's main cast. Now that Lenny's on board, let's take a look at all of the famous faces who will be bringing the popular book series to the big screen! BuzzSugar editor Shannon is here with the rundown. First up, we have Jennifer Lawrence as leading lady, Katniss Everdeen, a teenager who enters a deadly competition where she's forced to kill or be killed. Shannon, no verbatim: Jennifer was really in the spotlight this past award season, and she even earned an Oscar nomination for her role in Winter's Bone. Hunger Games fans were a little upset since Jennifer's blonde, but ever since she dyed her hair brunette for the part, she's been everywhere. Josh Hutcherson will be taking on the role of Katniss's male counterpart in the brutal games and her love interest, Peeta Mellark. Shannon, no verbatim: Josh Hutcherson got our attention in The Kids Are All Right last year, and he seems like he has just the sort of sweet demeanor needed for the role. Liam Hemsworth completes the story's juicy love triangle as Gale Hawthorne, Katniss's closest childhood friend. Shannon, no verbatim: You probably know Liam from The Last Song or for dating Miley Cyrus, but this could really be the role that makes him a Hollywood heartthrob. Woody Harrelson will be taking on the role of mentor to Katniss and Peeta, Haymitch Abernathy. Shannon, no verbatim: Everyone knows who Woody is, but I can't wait to see him how he plays both Haymitch's drunk, bitter side and his more sensitive, paternal side. Also by Katniss and Peeta's side is Elizabeth Banks as the Effie Trinket, the annoyingly upbeat woman who chaperones the teens on their way to the games. Shannon, no verbatim: Elizabeth Banks has done a lot of comedic roles, most recently on 30 Rock, and she seems a perfect fit for the bubbly Effie. Lenny Kravitz is Cinna, the stylist who gives Katniss her fiery games costume and becomes her friend. Shannon, no verbatim: Love this casting! Lenny appeared in Precious, so he's not necessarily new to acting, but putting him in the role still feels somewhat unexpected. And lastly, Stanley Tucci will be working his charm as Caesar Flickerman, the chatty host of the games.
