Some opinions on the best gaming headsets
What is the best gaming headset?
Arash: PX21 TURTLE BEACH
I have them, i also bought the ps3 bluetooth which is TERRIBLE, hurts your ears, you can't hear gameplay. But with the px21%u2032s, you can boost your bass, hear it in 5.1 surround sound, and you can turn up the game volume and voice volume or turn them down to whatever you want. It also has a mute function if you don't want to be heard. They cost about $70-80 It cost's a bit for a headset, but trust me its worth it, installation is really easy, you plug it in, go adjust some settings on the accessory settings menu (they show you all the instructions in the booklet) and bam! Plus its a wired headset, (the wire is really long, so don't worry about it) but the good part is, YOU DON'T HAVE TO RECHARGE
Sapremic: Turtle Beach gaming headset. I don't have one myself, but i've heard people rave about them.
Tony: Astro a40s are great, so are Tritton Axpros. I've got the Trittons and I love them.
Conor: The best one out there is £150 (Im british so thats about $200 i think) and its called the Turtle Beach X41 or something. But it has things that your son probably won't need, it has those abilities to hear people reloading and moving easier. Have a browse for Turtle Beach headsets as they have those abilities, they range from about £30 ($50) to the £150 ($200) one. Go for one in the middle, so your son could also get a game or 2 for christmas, I hope i helped and i hope you and your family have a lovely christmas!
