Logitech G19 Programmable Gaming Keyboard

This gaming keyboard has its own 320 by 240 full color display that can show you just about anything information you'd need at a glance during a game; your stats, video playback, or other in-game info, as well as VoIP data. This display is located top and center of the keyboard, allowing you to glance back and forth between your monitor and the keyboard display with ease.

Gamers who play at all hours will appreciate the backlit keyboard with adjustable brightness settings. The 12 G-keys are highly programmable and customizable, and there is a volume wheel built right into the keyboard. Two USB ports allow you to connect additional devices like a headset, and there is an attachable wrist support for those marathon gaming sessions. At $199.99, this keyboard is an investment, but well worth it for hardcore gamers.

Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard

middle roadThis is a lower end model than the G19, and comes with a lower price-tag as well. The value for money is comparable, so this is for the more casual gamer, or a more price-sensitive customer. Like the G19, the G15 has an LCD screen for viewing game stats, but on the G15 it is elevated for better visibility. There is also a backlit keyboard with adjustable brightness, an adjustable wrist rest, and the keyboard angle also adjusts.

An interesting feature of the G15 is grooves under the keyboard that allow headset or mouse cables to run right under the keyboard. This can reduce tangle when using multiple accessories. There are 6 programmable G-keys for creating macros, which is fewer than the competition, but giving up some G-keys allows a reduction in keyboard size.

blueThe G110 does not have an LCD, but it does have several interesting features that compensate (plus the lack of LCD screen dramatically lowers the price.) You can also disable Windows/Context, which prevents annoying interruptions when you're concentrating on gaming.

If you're a gamer that enjoys first person shooters as well as multiplayer RPGs, you'll appreciate that you can save multiple keyboard settings on the G110, for switching between games. The G110 also has multiple USB ports for attaching additional hardware. At only $79.99, you're getting a lot of bang for your buck in the G110.

Saitek Eclipse Backlit Keyboard

The Eclipse, as the name suggests, is a beauty to use in the dark. The backlit keyboard looks especially good, and the laser-etched keys have a very modern look. The Eclipse is a little light on features; it has an adjustable wrist rest, adjustable keyboard angle, and access to volume and media control, but other than that it isn't spectacular.
