An interesting feature of the G15 is grooves under the keyboard that allow headset or mouse cables to run right under the keyboard. This can reduce tangle when using multiple accessories. There are 6 programmable G-keys for creating macros, which is fewer than the competition, but giving up some G-keys allows a reduction in keyboard size.

The G110 does not have an LCD, but it does have several interesting features that compensate (plus the lack of LCD screen dramatically lowers the price.) The backlit keyboard can be customized with several different colors, and twelve G-keys allow for up to thirty-six macros. You can also disable Windows/Context, which prevents annoying interruptions when you're concentrating on gaming.

If you're a gamer that enjoys first person shooters as well as multiplayer RPGs, you'll appreciate that you can save multiple keyboard settings on the G110, for switching between games. The G110 also has multiple USB ports for attaching additional hardware. At only $79.99, you're getting a lot of bang for your buck in the G110.

The Microsoft Sidewinder offers less than the Logitech keyboards in some areas, but makes up for it with some interesting and unique features. For example, the number pad is completely detachable, allowing closer access to your mouse if you feel you can do without the number pad. The keys are large, which helps you may fewer typing mistakes, and they are backlit, but the backlight is less bright than other models available. This keyboard allows for the programming of up to 90 macros - look out, opponents! There is also a "cruise control" key, which adopts the function of any other key if you hold them down together. This keyboard also gives you control over Windows Media Player and iTunes.

The Eclipse, as the name suggests, is a beauty to use in the dark. The backlit keyboard looks especially good, and the laser-etched keys have a very modern look. The Eclipse is a little light on features; it has an adjustable wrist rest, adjustable keyboard angle, and access to volume and media control, but other than that it isn't spectacular.
