How I Built My Budget Gaming Rig
I have built this lens as a diary following my project to build my very first gaming PC rig.
This is the first time I have built a PC and i`m very excited about getting the project started. Due to my wife not having a sense of humor when it comes to me using our finances to fund this project i.e 36 year old with 2 daughters building a gaming rig, maybe i do need to grow up alittle but anyhow i found a solution that would keep everyone happy.
The project will be funded by squidoo payments and another tattoo affiliate website i use, also any kind people that read this lens and feel like they want to donate some ;)
BTW I`m not the best writer, so if you find spelling mistakes, or bad grammer please don`t give me a hard time.
Once i have completed the rig all funds from this lens will be given to charity.
Where the hell do I start?
Where do i start ?That was the first question as i have no knowledge of what processors, graphics cards, motherboards would be the best to get for a gaming machine. So i decided to do a search for "build your own gaming rig" and stumbled across 3Dguru.com.
I used the forums there to ask about where to start and was given some advice by a very friendly and helpful member there by the name of "kylzer" thanks m8.
He gave me two systems that i could build on a budget of under £400 one AMD and one Intel, I have chosen to go for the AMD as the advice was that its a much more powerful system.

First Part Brought : Graphics Card
I was really exicted when my first part was delivered today :) I had enough money from last months earnings to buy the graphics card. And what a beast it is, the last card i ever brought was the radeon x800 and at that time it was the bee knees, it had its own fan and everything :)
This card is bloody massive i hope it doesn`t make too much noise as the fan looks like a propellor! Can`t wait to get this thing built now!!!!
I know the photos not great but nor is my camera will update it when i can borrow one.
When i buy new parts they will be added under this section

Selling My Tattoo Website
I`m so deprarate to get this project done that i`m willing to sell one of my tattoo websites. I started this website in october 2008 and i get around 45,000 uniques per month. I`m not making alot of money from this site as i` don`t really know how to monetize it. I makes around $20 to $40 a month from some affiliate links and adsense. But for someone who knows what there doing i`m sure could make a great deal of cash.
I want £500 for a quick sale, have advertised for alot more on other sites.
