Clan-Hunting

I'm sure you've heard of gaming clans before. The entire point of them is to socialize with other gamers and take on other clans. It's a neat fan-driven concept and will often times give your gaming a little boost or extra life. So I was scouring the net for some fun clans and I came across a few. These are the best clans I could find. Each of these are free of course, and all them accept all users of any skill level to join.

Blue Diamond Clan

The best I could find.

Blue Diamond Clan isn't the flashiest clan around. It's an Invision forum, with a cool Portal, and some great banner graphics and buttons, no flashy javascript or millions of things popping in front of you. Everything that is there looks nice, but also serves a purpose. But it is the best community I found. Everyone seemed to know each other and everyone seemed friendly to new users.

The main games I saw being played there were Pokemon Diamond, Guitar Hero III, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, and the occasional Mario Kart DS match. Brawl is currently being prepared for. Of course there were lots of other games being played, but these were the first few I stumbled on.

Anyway, they do some cool things like Teams, where you get yourself put onto a team and you fight other teams consisted of members of the clan. They also sometimes hold standard clan meetups and play games, with some gaming trivia usually at the end. Overall the best experience.

Infinite Blue Clan

Another good one.

Infinite Blue Clan has been around almost as long as Blue Diamond Clan. They have a nice community as a whole and you will probably have a good experience there. The fact they have a domain name is nice, but they still only have an invisionfree forum. They have some cool poll coding and a nice, simple banner. Their main flaw is the forum layout is more cluttered than BDC's, but the good weighs out the bad in this clan.

Fire Star Clan

Fire Star Clan is an interesting one. They obviously have money to buy domain names and the time to make a board different from invisionfree. And yet, I really don't like their layout. It's kind of big and clunky, and the red color layout isn't easy on the eyes.

But the members there are nice and somewhat active. This clan is heavily involved in the Nintendo WiFi Alliance, which is a positive and means good things for WiFi gamers. They try to get Clan Battles and Tournaments going on fairly often, and when they do they're almost always a lot of fun.

Check this one out if you're big into WiFi, but they don't support PSN or XBL nearly at all.

This is an offer site. You do offers, and then you get whatever the heck you want. I did it and ordered a Wii game. It can be somewhat tedious, but it's worth it if you got extra time and feel like earning a Wii Points card, XBL points, games, or whatever. This is not a scam or anything. The reason they give you free stuff is because companies pay them money to get people to click their ads.
