Created by Andrew Douse, geoffrey & george began in 1995 in the first year of his Visual Communication Degree at U.C.E in Birmingham. Whilst doing a project with a tutor who wouldn't let anyone wander off he was using giraffes in his Illustration of a Beatles lyric, but not being one to sit still for long Andrew got verrrrry restless and started cartooning instead. By the end of the afternoon geoffrey and george were basically there, albeit a bit thinner and less expressive.
Over the time since then they have developed alongside Andrew's Illustration style into over 150 cartoons, most of which are very specific to a time and person, the rest of which are on their website.
They've been on the Web since 2000,
at geoffreyandgeorge.co.uk
and are now on t-shirts at cafepress.
