- The first year I moved to my house, I planted tulips and the deer ate them all the following spring. Now I throw a mesh cover over them as soon as I seen them pop out of the ground. Nice lens.

- Some great ideas to keep those beautiful, but infuriating creatures from devouring my lawn and garden.

- I can't get those beautiful creatures to stop eating my yard down...nothings, nichts, nada works! I only use native plants since they come back, but all my bulbs, flowers especially the Hydrangeas are eaten to the ground. ;-(

- Fencing is the only method that works in my vegetable garden. Planting "deer resistant" plants worked well in my perennial flower garden. I've seen them walk right through that garden sniffing at plants but not eating any.

- Cool lens! I had no idea deer were such a problem for gardners. I don't grow anything myself but i wouldn't have guessed that deer love flowers so much. I would think I would see more deer where I live in a podunk town in Alabama, but I really don't. (It could be that everyone loves eating deer down here, just a guess...LOL) Any ways, it was a well constructed lens that approached a problem from many different angles and I'm sure that one of the remedies will apply to most, good job!! -Mr. Music

- We have deer that visit frequently. They hop happily over the 4 foot fence from our neighbors' yard and keep on munching! I try to grow flowers they don't like, and enjoy watching them eat our neighbors' hedge.

- I live in the woods, so I've stopped trying to plant flowers...the deer were here first. They LOVE hosta plants, I can tell you that. :)

- Interesting lens. We have many deer where I live, but so far they have stayed out of the garden, but have tasted everything else!

- Very well written lens with lots of good information about the alternatives for repelling deer. I live in a fairly crowded suburban area so we don't have a problem, but I know it can be an issue for a lot of people. Those should find this very helpful. Well done. 5*

- I've never had such problems and don't think I will have in the future but this is an interesting read and I liked the way you crafted the page.

- Great 5* lens :-). I don't have any problems with deer - or any other mammal for that matter, but my mother has problems with possums and has had to build a totally enclosed garden. Lensrolled to my slug control lens.
