  • Winter52 Apr 24, 2012 @ 1:41 pm | delete
I really never expected it to be so hard to find the one I liked the best, but I think that I would have to go with the white one with the stenciled flowers and the tools to match. That one was gorgeous!

I love the oriental gates but would probably never use them, unless I sectioned off a part of my yard for a Japanese garden or something. The wooden gate examples you featured are probably more my style.

Well, today is a Sunday so this afternoon I will repair the gate in the yard - you have great designs here. I had to pause at the bike gate and thought of the lack of a seat would discourage anyone from riding - even in place! Love it!

I really like the uniqueness of a driveway gate. Not only does it stand out as an accessory, it looks like it can take some beating and last for a long time. I'll consider it as an alternative when I'm intending to change mine.

    Cheers,

    Wow, the options are limitless!
  • Cinnamonbite Jun 20, 2011 @ 9:41 pm | delete
I've always wanted a pretty gate. I just can never justify spending thousands of dollars on one gate.
  • JoshK47 Jun 19, 2011 @ 9:39 am | delete
I've always been rather fond of the large stone gates for gardens, they look so attractive overgrown with ivy and such - of course, if your house doesn't come with one, they're a tad pricy to put in. I also rather like the stainless steel modern gate you have on here. Keep up the good work!
  • GetSillyProductions Jun 19, 2011 @ 4:24 am | delete
some truly breathtaking landscaping shots, I love the bicycle driveway gate, it's so original!

What fun, love all the different designs and looks. I'm partial to that one in the brick wall. I love the look of old European gardens with their walls and hedges. But not really able to do that here in the desert.
  • RenaissanceWoman2010 May 16, 2011 @ 1:14 pm | delete
I am really into garden gates. This was a wonderful collection of eclectic styles. I think I will make an aspen gate in the rustic style for my mountain cabin. Lots of aspen groves around here and I should be able to find some unique pieces of wood (dead standing - I would never kill a live tree!). One day I will have a Zen garden and make an Asian style fence and gate. That is one of my favorite styles along with Santa Fe/Southwestern style gates. Thanks for all of the ideas and options.
