WOOOOW. This is probably the most fantastic lens I have seen yet. SO MUCH INFORMATION, I LOVE IT. I have a smaller garden that I did last year and got a lot of positive feedback from my family, and they are encouraging me to expand upon it this year. I think I will use this method and hopefully within another year or two, I'll be at the farmers markets!

Loved the lens. There were a lot of ideas and time which i enjoy reading. All of the tips will help me out. Thank you.

Nice. Very thorough & informative. My greatest joy was when I still had my small greenhouse (destroyed by a storm), & would have 2 or 3 plant sales in the spring. Just selling small pots of perennials & herbs. It was fun. Thank for a great lens!

Happy April Fool's Day! Excellent lens with so much gardening business information in one small spot. I have Squid liked your lens and ..... I'm leaving you with a Fool's Day Blessing (no April Fool's prank here). This lens has also been added as a featured lens on My Squid Angel Wings blessing lens too. Look for it in the April Fool's Day section for the "Home & Garden" neighborhood.

This is an interesting approach to gardening for profit. I've never tried organic gardening without use of manure; must make a note to experiment next season.

I've haunted this lens from time to time since discovering it back in 2007...today I wrote an article about it on Squidoo Lens Reviews (http://blog.growwear.com/how-does-your-garden-grow/). Feel free to stop by for the read and to grab your SLR badge! Thank you for encouraging even us novice gardener's to give gardening a shot and profit...personally and by giving back to our community with our efforts.

Great information. My husband and I once grew an organic market garden (and most of our own food as well) on no more than an acre. Between a self-serve stand and the weekly, seasonal farmer's market, we supplemented our income quite nicely. Not to mention met lots of wonderful people and had fun doing it all. Anyhow, wonderful, well-written lens!
