    Great Lens! While I have the "black thumb of death" my mother in law can make anything grow. My boys are always quizzing her about the plants in her yard. Gardening is a great way to spend time together. Thanks!

    I recall with great fondness spending time with my grandfather helping him with his gardening and preparation of bulbs for various flowering plants. Thanks for a nice lens!

    Love this lens! Some of my best memories are of gardening with my Grandmother :) You have some good books listed here too, to remind us that gardening is a wonderful learning experience for kids. There is a time to put video games on hold and play in the dirt.

    It is so important to get kids outside and interacting with nature! I really believe it will enrich their lives and grandparents are the ones who can do it. Good topic.

    You are right, digging in the dirt is great but it is even better doing it with your grandchildren. I love all your ideas and such beautiful pictures. Awesome strawberry planter.

    I must admit, I had no idea you could actually buy live ladybugs (or even that they were good for a garden). I am going to suggest this activity to my mother to do with my kids. I think they would get a lot out of it. Thanks :)
