I Bought the Garmin Nuvi 255 for my daughter and nuvi 255w for myself my eyes needed a bigger view. Garmin makes a great product. I bought a Garmin 340 several years ago that my wife loves, it has taken us all over the U.S. without a problem. I recommend Garmin Nuvi 255 especially for kids going off to college. The "where am I" feature is great it tells you were you are were the closest hospital and police station are with there phone numbers great for when your lost or if you have an emergency. I did my own research on all the GPS and I always keep coming back to Garmin. i Really Love This GPS

This is our first GPS and we are very happy with it. As I have heard with other GPS systems, you have to remember that they are not perfect and will not always tell you the way you would have gone, but they will get you there. It is very user friendly and has some nice features that are easy to use. We have used it one two trips so far and have been very happy with it. I was concerned with getting the 3.5 screen as opposed to the 4.3, but the 3.5 has worked out great for us.

I have worked as a delivery driver. I have used my gps too much during the day. I had chance to test tomtom before, garmin's satellite and reception is definitely much more better. It finds the directions faster and graphics are much more clear and neat in garmin products. A bit more expensive and seems it has less functions than same priced items on the shelf but i ve been using it for over years, i know this item for me...

I purchased the Garmin Nuvi 255 for my granddaughter who lives in Denver. She loves it - easy to operate and understand. She uses it daily not only for street directions, but eating and shopping locations. The Garmin Nuvi has made her transition to Denver and learning a new city easy. We researched the product at local stores (i.e. Best Buy, Circuit City), and each sales clerk highly recommended the Garmin Nuvi 255- good choice!
My Garmin 205, Miriglio
We are a Garmin Family and own two (purchased by my daughter and son) Garmin Nuvi Model 200s, My son and daughter were so pleased with their purchases I decided to purchase the newer model 205 and have not been disappointed. In addition to the terrific price I got on Amazon, I've found the unit lived up to everything my son and daughter said it would. Ease of use, quick on the signal pick-up and very clear distinct voice directions. The one thing I do see it wanting is the option to choose local vs. highway routing. Otherwise extremely pleased with my purchase. It very definitely was worth the price.
