Before I went on my first ever drive to Florida I wanted to get a GPS system so I wouldn't have to look at a map or try and follow directions printed from the Internet. I also wanted something that was portable and could be easily carried around if I ever wanted to use it while walking in a city.
As usual, I probably spent more hours than I should have researching all of the different GPS systems but I always like to be thorough and get the best bang for my buck and I finally settled on the Garmin GPS 350. (contd. below)

The Garmin nuvi 350 price I paid was very reasonable when I considered all of the features included in the unit. Other GPS systems were either a little feature light or were overkill for my purposes. I just wanted a simple middle of the road and after using it on my Florida trip I am so glad that I did decide to buy nuvi 350 as it performed beautifully.
I had no stress at all while driving, even around big cities. I just let the Garmin nuvi 350 portable GPS tell me where to go and I obeyed. It notified me well ahead of any turn I had to make so I could be on the lookout and as I got closer it told me to turn and I did.
Once while in Florida I decided to take a different route and the nuvi 350 knew I was deviating from the route it had plotted and made a new route for me to follow without me having to do anything.
I could go on and on about the features and benefits of the Garmin 350 but I figure most people just want to know if it worked (yes it did) and what is the Garmin nuvi 350 best price.
I bought mine at Amazon.com and got a great deal. I might have saved a few bucks if I would have bought my Garmin 350 GPS from somewhere else but many times you have to figure in the shipping costs and at Amazon standard shipping is free plus I trust them because they are a big name and I know they will be around in the future. I can't say that about Jim Bob's GPS Outlet Emporium. To me that peace of mind is worth an extra five to ten dollars in savings.
