A Tribute to Gary Puckett
Gary Puckett and the Union Gap recorded a string of top selling, melodramatic chart ballads during the late Sixties.
Dressed in Civil War-era costumes, and complete with fictitious military ranks, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap were in their own way as far-out and singular as any other act of the period.
The group also sported a lead singer with a voice that was wonderfully full, robust and stylistically controlled.
