Heat Resistant Grill Covers
Grill Covers With Fire-Resistant Fabric
It is not at all self-understanding that a gas grill cover is also heat resistant. In fact majority of grill covers out there are NOT. It may come as a surprise but it is the fact. 90% of all bbq gas grill covers are made of vinyl. Plastics like vinyl starts melting when exposed to temperatures higher than 130 F. All Weather Grill Covers
All weather gas grill covers are the thing for BBQ fans that intend to leave their grill out on the open the whole year through. Full weather protection offers a satisfactory heat resistant features as well as cold protection. Gas grill covers can catch cracks due to low temperatures! All weather grill covers must come with straps, cords and hooks to fit tightly over your grill. So you do not have to worry about strong winds blowing off your grill cover. All weather gas grill covers are quite expensive, but many manufacturers will give you a lifetime warranty on a quality grill cover. All you have to worry about now is not to burn your stakes by grilling. Cart BBQ Covers
When choosing your gas grill cover you should know the difference between cart and portable gas grill covers. Cart gas grills are the ones that have legs. If you have to move them, you usually have to lift them up from the ground and hide them from that bad weather. So if you own a grill cover like that, you should look for cart gas grill covers. Those will come in a shape that lets you protect your grill all the way to the ground. Gas grill covers for portable BBQ grilling
Portable grills are those with small wheels that make them easy to roll under a roof if it starts to rain. Therefore if you intend to search for a gas grill cover for your portable grill, look for grill covers that do not cover your grill all down to the ground. You need those wheels kept open so you can easily role your grill even when it's protected by a grill cover. Portable gas grill cover is the thing you should consider in this case. Vinyl Gas Grill Covers
Plastic Covers For Occasional Grilling
Vinyl gas grill covers are popular because they are up to 10 times cheaper than heat resistant covers. They are a good choice for every BBQ fan that takes its time with preparation and cleaning afterwards. Hastiness by grilling is no friend of vinyl grill covers. Vinyl gas grill covers come in handy when after the grilling you thoroughly clean up the grill and let it cool down well below 90 F. Plastic grill covers are not meant to keep your grill safe out on the backyard for months. They are water resistant but the UV light gets them really hard. And yes, condense water is a big enemy of yours if you use vinyl grill cover. It accelerates corrosion of your grill. Vinyl grill covers are for those grilling enthusiasts who have a dry place for their grill, but like to take their time before moving their grill there. Large Gas Grill Covers
Gas grill covers are traditionally larger than wood or charcoal grills. That additional space is required for the gas itself. To make your barbequing as comfortable as possible, a comfy large bbq cover should protect your entire gas grill from external factors like rain and bad weather in general. Choosing the right size
How large should it be and where to find additional information?
Many people tend to think; let us take that xxl cover, it costs the same and it is bigger than others. Do not make that mistake. The best grill cover is one that tightly fits your grill. You have to know that more place you leave between the cover and you grill, faster will the cover catch scratches. You are ruining your cover and possibly your grill by choosing a cover that is just too big. And yes, by deciding for an xxl cover without any real need for it, you give wind a bigger surface to lean on to and a better chance to throw over your grill. For in-depth review of grill covers click at:

- Nice that I happened to find this, since my dad and I spent the afternoon putting together my new grill. I didn't think to get a cover for it when I got it, so will be browsing more for ideas ;)
