Gas scooters were around for about 22 years and are used in many different ways for fun.  Gas scooters have even made their way to the big screen in a recent movie with Adam Sandler entitles Reign Over Me.  In this movie Adam Sandler's sole means of transportation is a Goped Trailripper Scooter. The exact same one pictured here: 

 

What you are now looking at is the all new Trail Ripper from Go-Ped. This gas scooter puts the x in xtreme. With the swing arm suspension you can make this scooter behave like a dirt bike. This scooter has a four horsepower engine and dirt tires for extreme speed. This scooter has also been used in the movie 'Reign Over Me', starring Adam Sandler. To shoot this movie they had to use ten different Go-Ped modles to shoot the movie.

I have recently purchased a BladeZ gas scooter and it is the best couple hundred bucks I have ever spent. Here are the most recommended gas scooter companies:

What you are looking at is the GSR25 gas scooter from Go-Ped. This company is not that really affortable but is very recommended. Go-Peds really know what they are doing when it comes to speed and jumps. All Go-Ped scooters have Japanese engines and are assembled in the USA. This is the number one thing you need to look for if you want a durable scooter. Some scooter companies offer Chinese scooters and thats what you do not want to buy. I purchased one under a year ago and it broke the very first day. I had to repair it myself, and to tell you the truth it is not so easy.

EVO

This EVO powerboard has two gears and a four horsepower engine that can take you over 40 mph! The EVO gas scooter has the same unique design as the Bladez gas scooters but with a little more imagination. EVO is a relatively new company but very reliable. They are the first company to actually put two gears on a scooter. These scooters are recommended for only racing not jumps. You may go on jumps with scooters only if you have shcoks or any shock absorbing suspension. EVO is one of the top three companies in the world.

This Bladez gas scooter is one of the best scooters you can get on the face of this earth. Wtih the power of this engine you willl not be limited to where you can ride. I personally own a Bladez and I am happy to say that I am extremely happy with it. I really recommend this scooter for racing and jumps. This is surely one of the best works of machinery.

 

BladeZ

These companies really know how to build sturdy gas scooters. Different companies have different gas scooters. What I mean by this is that scooters can range from city cruising, to racing, to crazy jumps, and just for fun. You would save a lot of money on gas by using a gas scooter instead of a car. My BladeZ gets around 80 to 100 miles to the gallon. Wow! Big savings. And plus you dont have to worry about maintaining your scooter as frequently as maintaining a car.

Most gas scooters are powered by a two-stroke engine. Unlike cars that run on a four-stroke engine, two-stoke engines have the best power to weight ratio. This means that two-stroke engines have more power to their size than four-stroke engines. Two-stroke engines have 30% more power than the average four-stroke engine. 

If you live in New York or any buisy city its great to have a scooter so you can beat the traffic. These scooters are also great for kids. But dont forget to wear safety equipment!
