There are a number of options for us out there but not all of them are worthwhile. We have to remember that the goal here is to save money now, not invest a lot in the hopes of getting it back in the future. There are far too many products out there (from scams to gems) to list them all, but the typical options that are available are
- Engine Modifications
- Fuel Line Devices
- Air Bleed Devices or Vapor Bleed Devices
- Fuel Additives or Alternative Fuels
- HHO Gas (or Oxyhydrogen Conversion)
Should it be Expensive to Save Money?
Most of these will end up costing you more than you're saving. Fuel additives might give you better mileage but the extra cost for the additive puts you back where you started. Engine Modifications are costly and often void your warranty. And Hybrid cars are a big investment in the hopes of saving money later (which doesn't really help right now).

- Doug, first of all, it clearly states here on the site that the HHO conversion has a 100% money back gaurantee. Master mechanic or not, reading things thoroughly is a valuable skill.
Secondly, there are a lot of old sayings (just because something is old, that does not make it right.). Here's one more for you

- To say I am "very skeptical" would be akin to saying "no doubt : you are a scammer" ; not only are your claims impossible ; anybody who believes them [your claims] possible is a fool ! This [my opinion] applies not only to your wild claims of fuel economy, but I am certain you would not be refunding any monies you get your5 hands on !
If it were economically possible : everyone would do it !
