Hi! I'm a newly enlisted seller on GoAntiques!

This is a place where those of us who list and sell on the fixed price retail site GoAntiques can meet each other and say hello! I haven't found a place just yet, so I thought I would just start one anyway. I started a few threads on Worthpoint, but so far, none of the GoAntiques sellers have responded.. so here I am, trying to find all of you, since I don't know many sellers there yet.

This is the place to sell. Try searching all the channels including the collectibles! You will be able to list just like you do anywhere else! You will have to apply for a membership, but if you sold on ebay it shouldn't be hard to do!

Hi! I guess we are all new here? Introduce yourself! | WorthPoint: It took me over an hour to figure out how to navigate the forums here!LOL! You have to subscribe to the community first, THEN you can post! I didn't even see this community until I did a search using the search term "sellers", quite by accident!

I am always on Twitter as ocdgirl2000 feel free to follow me and all the other GoAntiques and Worthpoint sellers/members! So far, after 3 months of carefully placing a few listings on Go, I've already made enough to cover my fees and a nice chunk o change! ;-) I'm still getting my feet wet there, but watch out! Once I get on a roll, there will be hundreds of listings on their way!

There is now a forum for GoAntiques Sellers. I decided if no one else wanted to do it, then I would! It's not all that great, but heck, it's only my first attempt at designing a forum for ANY reason!LOL! I figured maybe the folks over there would take my lead and relieve me of the responsibility! Thanks so much for your reply! I had no idea it was even there, until I clicked on the dashboard section of "my comments" . I should do something to make this board more user friendly. As you can see, I'm no computer expert!LOL! Which is why I presently do no know how to list in Go's fixed priced listings! I have spoken to the support people and they are just darling, but there is nothing like talking to another seller or two or three! Sellers just know how to get you thinking and give you the scoop on what sells best and what works well on any given site. Tech people just give you tech instructions.LOL! Anyway, hope you get back here and chat!

Thanks for starting up a blog page. We need a place to compare notes, pass opinions, gossip or gripe. The live auctions were good to me. But a lot of work. The run of the mill Ebay bidder is totally confused by the process. So I ended up begging for payments. I spend or spent so much time explaining to buyers how the check out I felt like GOA should put in on the payroll. Even though it is a hassle I am looking forward to getting my stuff up on the LIve Auctions again. Currently I am sucking wind.
Hopefully thing are going to swing the other way soon. Does anyone have any opinions about the Worthpoint site? Anyone have any good stories to share?
I recently went to France. I had high hope on scoring goodies the a fleamarket there. I am telling you it was a feast for the eyes. I have never seen so many really old antiques all in one place. The dolllar against the Euro sucks and everything was very expensive. I only came back with a few items.
