All Race Weekend activities are coordinated and produced by the Gasparilla Distance Classic Association, Inc., based in Tampa, Fl. GDCA was established in 1978 and is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated specifically to raising funds for charitable youth organizations and running programs in the Tampa Bay area. Our mission is carried out through the administration of the annual Publix Super Markets Gasparilla Distance Classic Race Weekend and Jr. Gasparilla Distance Classic. To date, $3.2 Million in charity funds have been donated!

MARCH 3, 2012, the Race Weekend Line-up includes:
* 15K and 5K
* 15K Wheelchair
* Kellogg's Special K 5K Walk and Stroller Roll

On MARCH 4, 2012, the Race Weekend Line-up includes:
* Half Marathon and 5 + 3K
* Michelob Ultra & Beck's Light Challenge
