It sounds like your introduction to RC cars was a bit like my similarly painful introduction to RC helis. I found them when I needed something to keep me sane after breaking a thigh bone. Now I am totally hooked - that is on RC helis, not breaking bones!!! Read more on my RC heli adventures at http://www.rchelicopterworld.blogspot.com and http://www.rchelisandcars.com

True gas powered cars run on a mixture of gasoline and oil, although you can also purchase nitro fuel cars, which are like a hybrid between gas powered cars and electric cars. Good job guys.

Either size comes in two categories: on-road, designed for paved areas, and off-road, designed for any other terrain you can think of.

For one, there are no expensive batteries you have to purchase or recharge; all you have to do is pour in the fuel and watch them go. Cool lens.

This hobby can be very complex. It would be wise to investigate the kind of car you desire before making a purchase.
