The thing that brought me to digital art were Wallpapers. I collected them for years until I found out there was free software on the web, which made it possible to create my own worlds.
The program I started with, was the scenery generator Terragen, wich you can download for free(for instance here: Terradreams )

I became adicted and produced hundreds of images. The basic intention of my work is to design nice wallpapers.

The first Gate-to-Nowhere Calendar, featuring 12 of my most popular artworks:


I thought about designing this for a long time, and now I just needed to do it :) By now I only created Calendars for family and friends.

Posters are the most basic thing I do of my images. There are dozens of them, but I'll show you just the newest this time :)




A Winter Secret
This is one out of 6 versions of this tree. Trees are one of my most favorite beeings on Earth. You'll find several trees in my images.
The tree is painted in Photoshop with a graphics tablet.




Eclipse
This is the first image that shows an alien in an alien world. It went out of its town to collect some spices this afternoon and was surprised to see the sun covered by this dark disk.
The image is painted in Photoshop by using a graphics tablet.




Memories
I wanted to paint an ocean and waves with light shining through :) I used a basic Terragen Scene and painted it over in Potoshop. Here I used some Phototextures for the clouds. Some of the clouds still are Terragen-clouds.




Looking Towards Home
Here I wanted to use my favorit rock on this world. You will find it at Lanzarote in a small Bay called "El Golfo" or something. There is a grass green lake and there is a rock which looks a bit like this. I used it as referenz.
Again I took a very basic Terragen-Scene and painted it over in Photoshop. There is not much left of it, but the water in the front and some grass parts.




Summer Song
As I said, trees are important for me. They give me a feeling of deep memory, of being old and having seen all ages of Earth. There is something really mysterious about them, which I cannot explain proper.




Ocean of Fire
Again an image with waves and light shining through the water. Here are two suns. The sky is done in Terragen.




The secret 2
I should give you something different now, but I decided to show you my personal favorite. And you will not be surprised to see this is a tree. The tree wich has 6 versions in my Galleries. :) This is the blue version.

Some weeks ago I was asked to design Mouse Pads and I thought this was a good idea. I'm gona geht one myself, for mine is little old and dirty. ;)
