    There seems to be some buzz on the site about gather.com going away. Or, declining. Is that just kirfluffle or have you heard such? I've just signed up and can't quite put my finger on what it is I really like about the site. Maybe it's all the groups and the newsy slant. Thanks as always!!

    It does take a lot longer to get the same amount of points these days.

    But I use the site to publish snippets, and link to larger articles (such as lenses, leaves and hubs). So any points for me is just a bonus.
