Gator's Chili Recipe
The Best in the Southwest
3 lbs lean ground beef
2 medium chopped onions
2 cans stewed tomatoes
2 cans kidney beans
1/2 lb diced green chili
3 tbsps crushed red chili
2-3 jalapenos
touch of garlic
salt to taste
4 cups water
In large cast iron Dutch oven
Brown off ground beef and drain
Add onions
Add red and green chili
Add kidney beans
Add stewed tomatoes
Add garlic and salt
Add water
Cook on high temperature
until chili comes to a boil
then put on low temperature
for 2 to 4 hours.
Stir regularly.
Taste often.
