The common belief is that Anton Gaudi designed his architecture because of his passion for beauty and the essence of line. However Hedley Pecker's theory of the real reason for Gaudi's extraordinary work needs a closer look.
Mr. Pecker, pigeon racer and Yorkshire muse, claims in his well known documentary series that Toni was indeed a pigeon racer and dedicated his life to the comfort and training of his pigeon collection.
This rare documentary which was banned from TV broadcasts in 1992, the year of the Olympics, due to worries over the effect this film could have on Catalan tourism, is now available to watch here. The Chinese have also banned it.
