Taperlock Thread Plug Gages

WESTport Work Plug Gages provide a functional check of internal threads.They are made in full conformance to the ANSI B1.2 gage standard. Chip grooves are provided on all GO work plug members in sizes #10 and larger. They are located at the entering end of the gage and provide a means for cleaning dirt and other debris from the internal product thread

Truncated Setting Plugs & Thread Ring Gages

Truncated Setting Plug Gages - WESTport Truncated Setting Plug Gages are made in full conformance to American Gage Design standards (B47.1) and to the ANSI B1.2 gage standard. They provide an accurate control in checking or setting thread ring gages. The setting plugs are held to Class "W" tolerances on lead, flank angles and straightness (taper). They are available in Class "X" or Class "W" tolerances in pitch diameter.

Thread Ring Gages - WESTport Thread Rings are made to American Gage Design standards. It is a one-piece construction with a setting adjustment feature located on one side. The AGD style thread rings conform to the ANSI B1.2 Gage standard. Made with only the highest quality graphitic tool steel and ground to the high end of the tolerance to allow for increased wearability.

Taperpipe Plug & Ring Gages - NPT,NPTF, ANPT

Taperpipe NPT Plug & Ring Gages - WESTport Taperpipe Gages conform to "Screw Thread Standards for Federal Services" and the American Standards. Association specifications and tolerances for working gages. NPT Plug has a gaging notch located L-1 distance from the small end. NPT Ring is the thin type of length equal to dimension L-1.

Taperpipe ANPT & NPTF Plug & Ring Gages - The L-1 and L-2 taper thread ring and 6-step plain cylindrical gages are used for checking the elements of the external threads in the same way the plugs are used. The L-1 thread plug gage replaces the conventional taperpipe plug gage. The only difference is that the threads are slightly larger.The L-3 thread plug gages the effective depth of thread. When used in conjunction with the L-1 gage, it provides a definite check on lead taper, pitch diameter and truncation of the threads.
