80's Pop Star Cyndi Lauper Plans Gay Rights Concert Tour

Cyndi Lauper, best know for chart-topping hits in the 1980's such as "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and "True Colors" has announced plans to create a special concert tour to promote gay rights, and awareness about the civil liberties issues withing the LGBT community.

The tour is set to begin in June, and currently includes 15 cities, with a 16th city possible.

Among those slated to appear are Erasure, Debbie Harry, the Indigo Girls, Rosie O'Donnell, and Margaret Cho as the host.

One dollar of every ticket sold will go to the Human Rights Campaign.
