And it is not a crime to be gay! Its our right, too! Though lots of people think that it is a crime to belong to the Rainbow Generation, i think its not!

1. The bible is a fictional story made to give people a way to blame shit that's wrong in their life on an external factor and not the fact that they don't know what they are doing. 2. Basing laws and rights on what people can or can't do on a fictional story is stupid. Same with basing laws on ludicrous stereotypes and misconceptions. Examples of this include blood donation. Has anyone ever noticed that blood banks are continuously pleading for blood donations yet deny the right for many individuals to answer there pleas based on every homosexual's apparent sexual promiscuity. 3. Laws are in place to attempt to create a false sense of equal rights for homosexual people. How can a law be enforced when the very people in charge of enforcing a law are themselves 'homophobic'. 4. Why is it legal for a homosexual individual to adopt a child yet it is illegal for a homosexual married couple to adopt a child? Once again we are simply basing these rules and regulation on something that hasn't been researched enough to prove or disprove anything. People! We once assumed that the world was flat. Look how far that got us!!!! Btw, being a homosexual is no more of a choice than who you have feelings for as a heterosexual. If that was the case I'm very sure that all homosexuals would choose to be straight. Being yelled at for holding your long term partners hand in public is not fun. XD. Neither is growing up having to watch your back continuously. Think people! (Going slightly off topic I KNOW)

that gay ppl should have the same rights as straight ppl...they are ppl too! and yes it goes against what god intended but i think they should be able to do what straight ppl do!!! now when it comes to marriage i think they should be aloud to wherever they are BUT...it should be called something else like a union because yes if you look marriage up in the dictionary it says "marriage is a lifetime commitment to a man and a woman..not a man and a man or a woman and woman"....but they should still be able to 'marry'

Little does most of the world know, gay people already have the same rights.

David says:
Absolutely not. Not when it comes to marriage. Special treatment does not equate to equal rights. I have no quarrel with gays (one of my uncles is gay) but when you start demanding that we have to recognize gay relationships the same as a man and woman marriage, that's forced integration and I for one, do not agree at all.

Definition of Being Gay
The term gay was originally used, until well into the mid-20th century, primarily to refer to feelings of being "carefree", "happy", or "bright and showy"; it had also come to acquire some connotations of "immorality" as early as 1637.
The term later began to be used in reference to homosexuality, in particular, from the early 20th century, a usage that may have dated prior to the 19th century. In modern English, gay has come to be used as an adjective, and occasionally as a noun, that refers to the people, practices, and culture associated with homosexuality. By the end of the 20th century the word gay was recommended by major style guides to describe people attracted to members of the same sex.GLAAD: AP, New York Times & Washington Post StyleAPA Style Guide: Avoiding Heterosexual Bias in Language At about the same time, a new, pejorative use became prevalent in some parts of the world. In the Anglosphere, this connotation, among younger generations of speakers, has a derisive meaning equivalent to rubbish or stupid (as in "That's so gay."). In this use the word does not mean "homosexual", so that it can be used, for example, of an inanimate object or abstract concept of which one disapproves, but the extent to which it still retains connotations of homosexuality has been debated.
Lesbians - A Definition
Category: File - :Lesbian Couple from back holding hands.jpg|thumb|250 px|alt=Photo of two women from the back from the shoulders down, dressed in outdoor clothing, carrying motorcycle helmets, and holding hands|The word lesbian can refer to desire, a woman's identity, or activity between women.
Lesbian is a term most widely used in the English language to describe sexual and romantic desire between females."Lesbian", Oxford English Dictionary, Second Edition, 1989. Retrieved on January 7, 2009. The word may be used as a noun, to refer to women who identify themselves or who are characterized by others as having the primary attribute of female homosexuality, or as an adjective, to describe characteristics of an object or activity related to female same-sex desire.Zimmerman, p. 453.
Lesbian as a concept, used to differentiate women with a shared sexual orientation, is a 20th-century construct. Although female homosexuality has appeared in many cultures throughout time, not until recently has lesbian described a group of people. In the late 19th century, sexologists published their observations on same-sex desire and behavior, and designated lesbians in Western culture as a distinct entity. As a result, women who became aware of their new medical status formed underground subcultures in Europe and North America. Further broadening of the term occurred in the 1970s with the influence of second wave feminism. Historians since have re-examined relationships between women in history,...
