Global Domains International (GDI) - Scam? Or Legitimate Home Business?

First off I would like to establish myself as someone who knows what he is talking about because what good is information if the person doesn't have the background to really provide you with value.

A little bit about me
My name is Chris Heath and I have been working online successfully for 2 years now. I have built two very successful blogs all about working at home, and weeding out the scams.

Aside from my blogs I was able to build a nice piece of income working online which has been able to stabilize me financially. This did not come easy by any means and I am not telling you this to brag. I just want you to know that I am one of the success stories of working at home and that I have been through a lot.

Now I didn't just jump online and instantly find this success I was scammed many times by online surveys, various programs and many promises that didn't come true. My first signs of success started small with typing short articles and working with some data entry programs. These were not easy to learn but patience and hard work always payed off.

My big break came to me in the form of internet marketing. I learned how to effectively do this and I established myself on top of many people in the field very quick.

Within my first year of online work I had brought in nearly $25,000.00 and the knowledge I gained is surly worth a lot more.

Now On To The GDI Review!

The company Global Domains International or GDI as many refer them as is a web hosting company with an online money making opportunity. GDI was founded in 1999 and is still running today.

GDI has basically opened a new door to the internet with a new domain extension they call .ws. I am sure most of you are familiar with website urls that end with the .com, that is a url extension. Well what has happened is that the amount of people using the internet continuously increases and its expected that millions more with be adding to this in the next decade. With that being said the .com extensions are being used up and its near impossible to find a good name to attach to the .com extension. It was only a matter of time before someone set up a new extension and with the .ws standing for web site it has become very popular.

Global Domains International has ranked #37 on ink magazines list of top 500 fastedt growing companies in the USA. The founders of the company have also been featured in entrepreneurs magazine and on covers of the business section of major USA news papers.

So all is well on the back end, they are providing a sound product which is used by many credible companies and a solid idea that makes sense.

Lets move forward to the work at home money making program they offer.

You probably know by now that GDI has a program which many people claim has earned them a lot of money. It is offered all over the world and offered in many different languages.

Here Is How The Program Works
GDI has a few ways for you to make money but they generally revolve around referrals.

You get paid 10% on each person you refer to the program and its built 5 levels deep. So if you bring in 5 people you will earn $5.00 a month. This may not seem like much and its not but if each of your referrals 5 levels down bring in 5 people then your looking at over $3000.00 each and every month. So as you can see over time this can build up.

GDI also has a bonus program where you can earn an extra $100.00 for each five people you refer a week.
Example:
Refer 5 = $100.00
Refer 10 = $200.00
Refer 15 = $300.00
Many people within the program have reported earning hundreds a week simply by using this bonus program. If you add up there regular commissions on top of that you can only imagine what they are bringing in.

Again though this is just "he said she said" but it did interested me a lot.

Hey everyone!

After passing up GDI many times over the years I finally descided to join. They offer a 7 day free trial so I took advantage of it.

I joined free for 7 days as they advertise under a fellow marketer like myself. This is key to joining any program. You have to make sure you join under someone who knows what they are talking about.

Once I joined I set up my website and my email accounts which was really easy and I began to promote the program like I would any other. here are my personal results.

I have only been working with GDI for a few weeks and these are my results.

I have blacked out and removed some of the personal information of my referrals but you can see that I have 8 of them and my referrals have brought in 4.

If you look to the right you can see which of my referrals are still in there trial stages and which ones have stayed on and activated there accounts. (You get 7 days free to try it if you choose to stay it will cost $10.00) Everyone that I refer is a level one referral and everyone my level one bring in are my level 2 referrals. It works like this 5 levels down.

Update!
As I was creating this blog update 2 more people signed up. It really starts building itself up by itself. Again I am still trying to finish this site and my downline has brought in another member to out team. Its only been one day and 3 more people. The training works everyone, I am so excited!

Over the past few weeks I was also able to accommodate my team and help them since I know about working at home and internet marketing. I have also set up a help center for my team so I can talk to them when ever they need help. I feel this is the best way to ensure the success of everyone.

We (the team) have a community training website which has over 200 members in it. This is a free bonus offered to anyone who joins through me or our team. What you get with this training site is full video tutorials on how to promote and market to attract people. You get programs that help you generate traffic and your basically taught how to build your own team below you. You can search for yourself anywhere on the internet as I did and sites like these run anywhere from $30.00 a month to $50.00 a month respectively. So when I joined I was shocked that my upline had offered me this training site free. I to now have the ability to offer anyone who joins through me this training site as well. The training site is particularly great because not only will it train you to be successful with Global Domains International but with thousands of programs I have seen online.

I have based my personal team around a great quote "earn for yourself but not by yourself" and it really has been working for them and myself in this short time I have been with GDI. They get the benefit of my knowledge and training of our training site. I have been working closely with them which I believe is another key to success.

Although I know how to market you do not have to be an expert to make money with GDI. As I mentioned before GDI offers you a lot of tools but finding a team that offers the support as ours does really can make a huge difference.

One down fall with GDI is that I noticed a lot of beginners from other teams struggling. I have been getting many emails since I joined and since i posted my results. People want to know how I am making money with GDI and how I am seeing results so quick. This shows me that they are not getting any help from there sponsor. Its unfortunate that they joined under a weak team and that's why I always say make sure the person you join under can really help you.

You don't have to go as far as I do to make money with this program. GDI provides you with videos, dvd's, business cards fliers, websites and pretty much everything you need to get started. I just teach my team how to use them effectively. Its not rocket science but there is a learning curve to it.

Of course I would love it if everyone joined under me but I understand that my approach to teaching doesn't fit everyone way of thinking.

If my downline continues to bring people to there downlines as well this number will multiply 10 times over easily.

This Squidoo Lens was about finding out if GDI was a scam of a legitimate business opportunity.

After passing up GDI many times over the years of working online I did finally join them and from personal experience I can honestly say that GDI is not a scam. They provide a sound product in the .ws extension and they offer a great program to earn money.

So to everyone who is screaming GDI scam they should definitely test out the program before they jump to such conclusions. I wish I wasn't so stubborn when GDI cam my way years ago because I could have made a lot of money.

So is GDI a Scam? NO
