    Geckos were a fun part of our trip to Thailand. Enjoyed hearing them "talk" in the evening, but I never saw any lick their eyes! That would have been cool to see... Thanks for sharing this information.

    I keep day geckos in North London, but it must be great to be able to see them in the wild (well not so wild since they are pretty urban). Still my guys are more colourful!

    We have them in homes here in Israel. I love watching them on the walls and ceilings. That video of the roofing material was priceless.

    once in the philippines, i wanted to catch a gecko or "butiki". i caught the tail but the tail just separated itself from the rest of the body. the tail was moving as if it has a life of its own. when i studied biology, i learned that the geckos are able to replace their lost tails.

    We love our lizards here in Arizona. The Geckos provide a valuable service by eating bugs and are fun to watch.

    Ohhh YES!! I LOVE LOVE these little guys. In Hawaii they are a MUST inside your house. So funny, unless you actually live with a gecko in your house, or maybe I should say live with 20-30 of them, you don't get it how normal that seems. I sure love their little tongues.. so CUTE! Also I don't know if most people know this about them but they have quite a sweet tooth.. or tongue I guess I should say.

    I fell in love with geckos during a trip to Hawaii. They were climbing all over my friend's walls! I still have a ceramic gecko pin that I bought to remember them by. Fun lens... Squid Angel Blessed.

    When I was 3 I lived on Guam and got a toy car for my birthday. That night I dreamt that a gecko drove my car to the other side of the room. The next morning, my toy car was not where I left it, by the side of my bed, but across the room, where the gecko had driven it in my dream.
    You can't make this stuff up!
