This is what I say when a friend gets dumped, when her relationship just isn't going well, or when she has stories to share about the guys she's dating being total jerks. Geeks are the best-kept secret of the dating world, and I'm here to tell all!

A Few Reasons Geeks Make Great Boyfriends (and Husbands!)
- They're appreciative!! Unlike the jocks and fraternity types, geeks do not feel a sense of entitlement when it comes to female attention- this raises its value enormously.
- They can fix your computer! (If they can't, they know someone who can.)
- Parents love them. Once you get past a certain rebellious age, this becomes a plus.
- You never have to worry where they are when they aren't with you. (They're at the game store with the guys.)
- Geeks don't spend all weekend watching sports. They'd rather find something you two can do together. One friend and her geek husband go see nearly every movie that comes out. My geek loves shopping and happily carries bags for me at the mall and holds my purse while I shop. (YMMV.)
