    The commonly known birthstones for the Sign of the Twins are the Pearl, the Alexandrite, and the Moonstone, as you state in your lens "Birthstone Gems - A Peek." I did take a look around the internet, and I was surprised to see that a number of stones, including the emerald, were said to be for Gemini. This is very new, and until recently, the emerald was NOT included among the birthstones for Gemini. I was thinking you might include the Pearl in this lens, since it has been the said Gemini birthstone for hundreds of years. (The emerald did happen to be the birthstone of Gemini in antiquity, but that information is more esoteric and not generally known.)

There are three emerald stones that are considered the best emerald gems.

1) The Gachala Emerald: 858 carats uncut emerald stone, mined in 1967 in Colombia and now being displayed at the Smithsonian Institution.

2)The Chalk Emerald: 37.82 carat stone also from Columbia, now being displayed at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum under the National Gem and Mineral Collection.

3) The Bahia Emerald: 1, 9300,000 carat!!!!!
