Ryan Newman Rocks The Gene Haas Tony Stewart Racing Team!

Ranked #124,262 in Sports & Recreation, #3,102,391 overall

Ryan Newman seems to have the Midas' Touch when it comes to pole positions. There were plenty of Doubters, back when Tony Stewart left Joe Gibbs Racing to hook up with Gene Haas to create Gene Haas Tony Stewart Racing, but no more -- These folks have proven themselves to be extraordinary professionals in the racing world.

Rocketman Rides To Victory

How can anyone win so many pole starts?

Ryan Newman (the Rocketman) has had a pole position every single year since 2001 and won 43 pole positions out of 260 Sprint Cup starts! Not only does Ryan Newman continue to win pole positions, but this dedicated driver pushes his Chevrolet Impala SS, the #39 U.S. Army/Haas Automation Car, to the limit, with 13 Spring Cup wins so far. His win at the 2008 Daytona 500 was a blast to watch, whether you are a fan of his or not. Newman has proven himself to be a skilled driver, scoring in the top ten in half of the races where he won the number one pole position. Sure, pole position is an advantage, but this man has SKILLS!

Ryan Newman earned a Vehicle Structure Engineering degree from Perdue University in 2001. He's no pushover. Obviously, Newman knows just how far he can go with that #39 Impala and the rest of the team is no exception.

Tony Stewart Wins Across The Board

Tony Stewart's success shouldn't come as a surprise, after winning his first race at the age of eight in the 1980 Columbus Fairgrounds rookie junior class championship. This man has won more different kinds of traces than anyone, earning championship status in Sprint cars, stock cars, open-wheel Midget cars, Indy cars, and Silver Crown cars. How's that for diversity? Not to mention his two Sprint Cup championships and two NASCAR championships. This Triple Crown winner knows good cars, good drivers and good teams, which is probably what led him to Gene Haas.

The New Team Is Looking Great

Gene Haas and Tony Stewart (Stewart Haas Racing) have put together one heck of a racing team. Ryan Newman's skills and luck with the #39 and Tony Stewart's thrilling runs in the #14 Office Deport/Old Spice Car are giving Chevy Impala one heck of a good name. Good names seem to be on every side of this racing team. Philanthropist, Gene Haas, brought his excellent business sense into the equation and this North Carolina racing team looks like there will be plenty more championships for us to enjoy.

If all of that weren't enough, Stewart-Haas Racing are sharing their success with plenty of groups who support education, the environment, the military, youth organizations and charities for chronically ill children, among others. This is a winning team that promises to improve the lives of millions and to push the limits of racing.
