Who knew I was going to be the family detective, but someone had plans for me as you can see in the picture when I was eight.

Genealogy is one of the greatest tasks that you can do for your family and yourself. Since 1984 I have started to explore my family tree trying to answer questions on who I am and where my family came from. My starting point was a story that seemed to stick in my mind that my mother always told the children. The story was past down from my grandfather on how his father came to America. I am hoping that this lens will encourage others to do the same for their families and discover genealogy
