Teething rings, teethers and toys which your baby always puts in his mouth should be cleaned constantly. If they are baby gifts that were given by friends and family, check the box or package label to see if the object is dishwasher-safe. It is highly recommended that after cleaning your child's teething ring, it should be placed in a bottle sterilizer.
Don't boil water-filled teethers because they might break open and also never tie an object such as a pacifier or teething ring around your baby's neck. The cord could accidentally tighten and choke the baby or at the very least, irritate his skin.
