Adventures of a Western Mystic: Apprentice to the Masters

I'm currently reading this book... and am nearly done with it. The book is easy to read, and in fact, is fascinating. If you believe miracles can happen, odd things can take place, and that some people are spiritually guided, you would probably love reading this book. It is a very unusual memoir! I liked it so much I made a page about it: Peter Mt. Shasta Books and Videos.

Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior

I'm also reading this one, but slowly. I like to read a chapter each night, then let that information settle into my consciousness. I've read most of the first part already - about gentleness of spirit, and humility, a quality I value highly in other people, and I hope I have a vast amount of it myself.

I'm reading the book because it was on Peter Mt. Shasta's recommended reading list. I'm planning to read most or maybe even all the books he recommended at the end of his book.

Unveiled Mysteries

By Godfrey Ray King

This was also on Peter Mt. Shasta's reading list and I got a Kindle version from Amazon! It is a classic of mystical literature. Godfrey Ray King was hiking on Mt. Shasta when he first met Saint Germain. Definitely a fascinating book! I started reading it a few weeks ago but set it aside temporarily so I could focus on reading Peter Mt. Shasta's book.

Vedic Astrology Simply Put: An Illustrated Guide to the Astrology of Ancient India

My partner bought an expensive Vedic astrology program and then bought some books to learn more about how to use it.

Everything he read made it seem very difficult to learn, so I bought this book which tells the basics in an entertaining and colorful way.

I started reading it, but then decided to let my partner read it instead, because he needs a very basic book. As I used to work with astrology many years back, a lot of this was review and I figured I'll learn more later... when he's done with the book, or when he wants to lend me the books he bought.

Divination

I enjoy divination. For me, it started with an in-depth study and relationship with the I-Ching. In recent years my interests have expanded to include card readings and dowsing. I love the Morgan's Tarot cards, a whimsical deck from the sixties... and other than that I use Archangel Oracle Cards, Trust Your Vibes Cards, and Angelic Messenger Cards, to name a few. Right now the only deck I use frequently has quotations from Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda.

Your blog is cool. I am reading it now. I moved from Northern California this past year. Wait a minute I think I have told you this before. Anyways, this is a cool lens. Love it!
