The temperature can be set as high as 525 degrees so meat can be seared quickly to prevent the loss of natural juices that result in a dry finished meat.

Cons: There are no particular cons associated with the George Foreman GFSG80 G-Surge InchSuper Sear Inch Indoor Grill. I do find it rather difficult to clean if you let it cool down completely before cleaning. Cleaning when still warm works best.
