In Memory of a Great Stand-up Comedian: 1937 to 2008
Just seven words about George Carlin. Funny, talented, brave, intelligent, outspoken, groundbreaker and human. The world lost a great comedian on June 22, 2008. But George Carlin was not just a comedian. He embraced roles as a writer, actor, activist, American. He was accomplished in so many areas both publically and privately. He was no angel, and used his experience both good and bad to help us all see, through humor, the fragility of humanity. This site is just a brief look at the man and his talent. Leave your thoughts and memorials at the bottom of the page in the Guestbook.

- George Carlin was such a comedy genious! It's really too bad that so few young people got a chance to see his best work. I hate having to describe him as 'the guy from the train show'.
Thanks for showcasing a great entertainer! *****
