Enjoy your read from The Hauntings of Georgia~~~~~
I have experienced some things here and will incorporate those stories ~maybe~
So where shall we begin~ Does that sound like the line from "Interview with A Vampyre"
The true question is this: Why are so many people drawn to spooky, haunted things? Have you ever thought about it? Why do we pay the money to go to haunted houses on Halloween? Why do we love to watch spooky movies, especially if they are based on true events? Oh, my goodness when I went to see "Texas Chainsaw" and read it was based on a true story, I freaked! Did I watch the movie yes, have I re-watched the movie? Yes!
The truth is, Georgia like all other states has a lot of ghost stories, especially in the mountains and South Georgia. The old gothic feeling of Savannah is a must see. Oh, and I promise you will see or feel a ghost while you are there!
I found this picture at Photobucket.com.

You knew we would have to start in Savannah, Georgia
- Savannah and the Supernatural
- An exorcism has been performed in at least one Savannah residence. On December 7, 1963 an Episcopal bishop conducted a 45 minute ceremony to cleanse the Hampton Lillibridge House on East Saint Julian Street of spirits. The house, which had been moved from another location, had a rollicking history of inexplicable incidents.
- Haunting Tour
- Experienced guides conduct captivating tours to legendary locations every night at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tours meet at Wright Square (corner of Bull & York Sts.) Reservations not needed but encouraged.

- Tomo-Chi-Chi, Mico of the Yamacraws, a tribe of the Creek
Indian Nation, is buried in this Square. He has been called a co-founder,

- Savannah Ghost Tours
- Savannah is considered one of the most haunted cities in America. Whether you're out to have some fun, or to study the facts, a Haunted Savannah Ghost Tour package with a room at an authentic Savannah historic inn is a fun and popular excursion
Okay~Been here, done that!
Haunted Bonaventure CemeteryBonaventure Cemetery is very large, and it is still active. There are many old gravestones, and all are in excellent condition. Many of the gravestones have beautiful, elaborate statues. It is very interesting place to visit. The cemetery was mentioned several times in the book (and movie) Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Today the cemetery is a popular tourist attraction for fans of the book.
Okay~A friend and myself spent the weekend in Savannah a long time ago. Oh, btw~Best lobster I have tasted. Okay both she and I are very Sensitive-Empathics and both of us are very aware of the Spiritual World, blah, blah, blah...
During our visit to Savannah we went to this cemetery and the moment you come up to it, chills begin to run up and down your spine! We had the best time that night, and experienced so many ~Spooky~ things, for real! A spirit of a little girl was following us as we were leaving the cemetery. As odd as you may think that sounds, as sure as I am sitting here typing this, it happened!
