Haunted Georgia
The truth is, Georgia like all other states has a lot of ghost stories, especially in the mountains and South Georgia. The old gothic feeling of Savannah is a must see. Oh, and I promise you will see or feel a ghost while you are there!
I know you will find some interesting things on this page and hopefully you will share some of your own experiences in the guestbook.
This imagine came from Photobucket

You knew we would have to start in Savannah, Georgia
- Savannah and the Supernatural
- An exorcism has been performed in at least one Savannah residence. On December 7, 1963 an Episcopal bishop conducted a 45 minute ceremony to cleanse the Hampton Lillibridge House on East Saint Julian Street of spirits. The house, which had been moved from another location, had a rollicking history of inexplicable incidents.
- Haunting Tour

- Live near a ghost? Hear strange noises at night? Our brave editors explore the spookiest places in your neighborhood.
- Savannah Ghost Tours
- Savannah is considered one of the most haunted cities in America. Whether you're out to have some fun, or to study the facts, a Haunted Savannah Ghost Tour package with a room at an authentic Savannah historic inn is a fun and popular excursion
Okay~Been here, done that!
Haunted Bonaventure CemeteryBonaventure Cemetery is very large, and it is still active. There are many old gravestones, and all are in excellent condition. Many of the gravestones have beautiful, elaborate statues. It is very interesting place to visit. The cemetery was mentioned several times in the book (and movie) Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Today the cemetery is a popular tourist attraction for fans of the book.
Okay~A friend and myself spent the weekend in Savannah a long time ago. Oh, btw~Best lobster I have tasted. Okay both she and I are very Sensitive-Empathics and both of us are very aware of the Spiritual World, blah, blah, blah...
During our visit to Savannah we went to this cemetery and the moment you come up to it, chills begin to run up and down your spine! We had the best time that night, and experienced so many ~Spooky~ things, for real! A spirit of a little girl was following us as we were leaving the cemetery. As odd as you may think that sounds, as sure as I am sitting here typing this, it happened!

- I have been to Savannah many times, but I have never visited the cemetery there. I'll have to watch for your little girl if we ever visit there. Since I happen to believe that spirits walk the earth, I have no trouble believing the accuracy of your story. So many resources here. I'm not even sure where I want to begin. Oh, wait, yes I am, I am starting by giving you a "back to school" bus tour blessing. After all, "back to school" is a bit scary in it's own right :)
