I guess I couldn't say with certainty that Calente has forecasted things correctly, but I do think the U.S. is in trouble. And I do like your section on what the "urban dictionary" has to say about political atheists and I think that is right on the money.
I too have found that many people believe in what is fed to them, instead of thinking themsleves with their own mind.
I too have written on a governmental problem, which is very controversial but true, and again dumb and crooked politicians are involved.
Naw, this is conspiracy theory nonsense.

Those who DO invest the time to educate themselves about these issues will also gain an opportunity that can be extremely positive. They are then in a position to take action to redirect their investments toward directions that can not only help them to escape the widespread collapse, but reap large personal returns on this wealth transfer in the end. I suggest that 'political athiests' unite toward creating their own safety net.

- I can accept it, but I don't want to. ...Creating a safety net, as you say, and educating ourselves about what possible future we may have looks like just about the only thing we can do.

- Yes it IS a tough concept to accept, a hard pill to swallow, and yet those who refuse to accept the reality will be hurt the most by it. Part of the 'safety net' we can create is networks for support online toward strategies to thrive during this difficult time, I'm working on that as I develop a blog called 'The Silver Lining' where I post sites and strategies to thrive rather than just survive the inevitable dive.
