Who is Gerald Myers?

Dr. Gerald Myers put his love of creative writing on hold to pursue a successful career in clinical cardiology. Years later, he returned to writing fiction and produced his first thriller, Muted Colors, followed by Song of the Siren and Lethal Legacy.

The Frame by Gerald Myers

Marc Bedner, a successful journalist, meets a childhood friend, Michael, while out jogging. Marc's chance encounter triggers his memory of the summer of '78, when Marc and Michael were teens. At the time, Michael was involved in drugs and framed for the murder of Shiona, a girl that Marc loved. Now, in the summer of '92, Marc wants to renew his friendship with Michael, but his pal seems to be involved in crime and drugs. Can this odd couple from different worlds ever be friends again? Can Marc and Michael get justice for Shiona? More than a captivating coming of age story, The Frame is a keen, insightful examination of friendship, loyalty, and what it means to be a man.

I love good mysteries, and I've read all of Dr. Myer's books. He's never disappointed me. His books are very fast-paced, and the suspense just gets stronger and stronger as you keep reading. If forced to choose a favorite, I guess I'd go with Lethal Legacy. It's got a very clever premise.
